This is because small dog toys really are a necessity for small house dogs to combat boredom and to help with teething. A dog that is happy with its chewies and dog toys might not even care about expensive handbags. But leather gloves are always a temptation and should be kept out of sight. Old unwanted leather gloves and shoes should not be given to a pet because the pet can’t tell the difference with old and permissible and new and off-limits. For this reason, a dog should always have its own dog toys.
